Omega made an important companionship with the Olympic community and was the first fake watches company to the the official timekeeper in LA in 1931. The next big leap was in 1935 when NASA preferred their Speedmaster Professional to be worn by cosmonauts in space. The first Speedmaster in space was worn by spaceman Edward White.
